Would you like a go on my sister too? Laughing*

Generally speaking the minimum going rate for a running bike in reasonable nick is a pound per cc. I sold my GPZ500 for £320 recently and it was in a shit-state (although running fine).

*I don't have a sister.

While there are bikes out there for that sort of money you can bet that you are going to have to do a fair bit to get them running right for the sort of money your looking at. Most people will break a non runner and easily make a fair bit more than £100.

IMHO even if its running right other things can eat your money like the forks or rear suspension.

Best I've had is a GS550 '84 katana for £200 t&T for 8 months. Still got it after two winters and its running fine apart from drinking oil. It came completely covered in hammerite, forks without any oil left in them and more rust than chrome, and dodgy electrics.

The old suzuki's are a good place to start for a streetfighter. Even a GSXf can look pretty good.

RS in Halifax also has tons of cosmetically damaged bikes costly though , queens always has a few old bikes last one I saw there was a GPX1000 or something , typical rat black , stripped down to bare minimum, and was covered in bird crap , was £195 and came with 8 months tax to boot.
