Hey well basically ive been trying to get my friends scooter to work, to start with i thought it was broken coil/cdi so i replaced it but there still wasnt a spark so i replaced the spark plug and there still wasnt a spart, the scooter is a gilera street rat could anyone shed some light on this situation.

At a guess I would say it is the generator.Has the flywheel been off it.
Or check if any of the wires have hit the exhaust and shorted.
Are the lights working.

found the problem was the pickup for the engine rpm thanks for your help Thumbs Up

I would just to know how that happened.The last time I came across that
some one put a screw in it when taking off the flywheel and moved it out.

it was just rusty Laughing once cleaned it worked. once again thanks for the help paddy, was sickpups idea to check the pickup didnt even cross my mind Brick Wall
