Hi,

My GPZ400 still wont start with the start switch it will only start if i have the ignition on and then short out the solenoid but if i turn off the kill switch the engine does stop. I've checked out and cleaned the start switch but still no joy. I'm almost sure there is no stand switch on it. Anyone got anymore ideas please?

You are sure the start switch works, right?

Try shorting the wires coming out of the back of the start switch, if it starts, the switch is knackered. If not, get the multimeter out!
