Paintball

Since most of you guys had such a blast at R&B me and Keith got to thinking that we should meet up somewhere for a day of paintball.

Whadda ya all reckon?

Possibly go for a site just south of Brum, then its not too far to travel from north or south.

Let me know what you think and then maybe we can get something arranged.

I've done it about 12 times now and it's WICKED!!!! I'm organising one nr Sheffield for the lads at work in September if anyone's interested. If we can sort it out in Brum and it's cheap enough I may move it there

hi there, if u wanna play weekend rambo then paintball is fine, but if you want to try something that will really get your balls tighten go SKYDIVING! gives me a hardon everytime and if your lucky you can race your bike down the run as fast as you want!

IF enough ppl are up for then I'm *definatley*.... the MCN Ninja's forum has had a few, but they take a fair bit of planning. Unfortunatley I haven't been abled to get time of work for any of the ninjas' ones Sad

On the websites Ive checked it should cost around £40 for a full day, inc paint, all equipment and dinner.

A track day was also mention, in particular at 3 sisters cuz it suits smaller bikes. The other thing that was talked about last night was hiring an old airstrip that Keith knows and blasting up and down that for a coupla hours.

One of my 'Grand Plans' was to do something like that... charge people £5/£10 to use it... let people spectate for free and charge a few burger vans etc. to set up there. Kinda like box hill but without the worries of pigs/cars etc.

Obviously public liabilitity insurance would be a nightmare. If you could get an air strip (well a 1/2 mile strip of some sort) permanently you could do a whole 'stunt school' during the week....

Methinks I would do better in life if I actually got round to doing some of the things I spend ages thinking about though Sad

I reckon it'd be mint to hire a runway out for the day and get a group of us down there to go mad - anyone know the details of how one goes about getting hold of an airfield? Smile

I have actually considered this a fair bit... starting with hireing a runway for private use Smile

then moving on if more ppl showed interest....

The first thing is to find one (there's one near my mum's place in Essex that's used for speed testing\car boots\cbts, which we have snuck onto after the cbts carboots are finished, but that's a bit far away) Then contact the landowner and make them an offer. It's going to have to be a disused airfield as there's no way they're are gonna stop planes on an normal one just to let a load of bikers use it Sad

I'll ask my mum (who flys) as she's probably got maps listing airfields, including disused ones.
