Ok so in our house, cars are brought done up and used ... its cheap and by the end of it you know the car inside out Smile .. so yesterday i headed to just outside Darby to look at a new Corsa (no comment on car, it does me getting from A to B and thats all i ask! Wink)

One thing is that all the cars we get have been written off, for many reasons. My last car looked like it was hit by something very large- lorry or a bus??? My mums i think was the one that might have hit a tree or a post and we had one really weird one that had managed to crumple the frount left and right identically but leave the middle almost perfect Confused

So here is the new car, its taken some kinda hit obviously from the rear. But i was wondering if anyone would like to come up with a good story for this one... not excepting that one careful lady owner never saw the post and hit it btw.. i need a decent story Laughing

EDIT : Link to better photo Smile

Got too close to a '98 R1.
Its rays undermined the car's structural integrity.

I'm impressed that the window hasn't shattered, maybe a low speed reverse into something soft but stiff like a roll of carpet on a truck? similar damage only not as wide as that.

Doesn't explain the ripped bumper though. Confused

Looking at the high of the point of deepest impact, I reckon a 4x4, without bull bars.

I reckon it got hit by ram_doom, he was tail gating it when it had to perform an emergency stop. Thankfully the kitten that was crossing the road didn't get injured.

An enraged lady attacked the Corsa with a fully loaded shopping trolley after the driver rammed her ankles whilst negotiating the busy aisles of a well-known supermarket.

As I have been beaten to all the usual jokes,
I'd say I reckon it was a truck/lorry that made contact, also there is dark red(not burgudy) paint in a few spots around contact points, maybe a towing bar on a truck, +rear light or something, but considering it's done well enough to get bumper, boot and left rear panel, it's been something big & wierd. Laughing
