Well just got back and uploaded the pics i got before the blimin camera batterys packed up Sad

We arrived in the rain, it rained lots, then i put up the tent while it rained, there was the odd gap but overall rain was the order of the day.. been in worse but a shame.. it was clear enough at night for talking oddness around the fire arrangement, after a while the 6 grew to 30odd milling about, thoroughly good time had Thumbs Up

The awards were handed out in glorious sunshine, this was when i got the camera out for a while before it conking out Sad

It looks like it's been chopped in half. If the tail end was put back on it would look pretty cool as it is fully matt black.

i really like the fact its been cut in half, looks different to anything else, massive front end and tiny rear end.

Was considering something like that for the zx9 as it's quite 'chubby', especially when naked.

It were reet good it were. Loads of really great bikes there, plenty of people, and the weather came good when it mattered (prize giving, and both nights whilst sat round the fire drinking till dawn).

I didn't wake up till 3pm on the Sunday, so was expecting to walk out my tent and find hardly anyone else there. In reality there was no one else there whatsoever. No bikes, no tents, no people. Fucking weird, kind of like in those films where people who survive a nuclear holocaust leave the bunker and find the streets empty...

I was at the rally on my xs750 outfit. I finished making the sidecar at 4pm on Friday. When I took it for a test ride it didn't fall apart, went pretty much in a straightline, and I only crashed it the once, so on went my camping gear and off I set.

Giving out test rides round the carpark:

AAAAAAAAGgggggggggggggaagggggggg!

I must say it was fecking weird but quite satisfying, must have another go at some point when there less chance of property damage and its a bit less crunchy Laughing (thats not me on it, thats barwick, i mean controlling it Exclamation )

The diesel bike was terrific (will be interesting to see if they are the new sidecars), the owner must have woke up eventually cause it had gone after Very Happy really isw a very clever bit of stuff, it looks home made but its hard to tell in places..
