was goin down salford moors (a big massive country lane), there was a bit of traffic. i was doin like 70 on me nsr, and this scooter comes cruisin right beside me!! i thought what the fuck, and of course blasted all the power out of me bike as i could get. he kept up with me for about 15 mins!!! on a scooter!!! we eventually called it quits and went either way, but i now realise i need a faster bike.
dunno wot cc the scooter was but u should av seen it go! just looked like a shitty 50cc'er but was the last thing i would av thought could catch me up at that speed.

you don't need a faster bike, you just need to deploy the ben hur-stylee wheel cutlass attachment next time that happens... didn't anyone explain what that big red button on the handlebars is for?

i had a similar one the other day - i was following what looked like a scoot from the back end, but the tyre was bit taller and narrower than usual and a big top box obscured a lot of my view, looked like it had foot pegs so it could have been a real bike, but it fucking shifted, crap on overtakes but effortless wheelies every time it stopped and when it sccelerated away from me, it just disappeared, and that pushing from 70.

could've been a bandit, sometimes they have a little looking back end.

hi chaps
if a 125cc or 180cc scooter is turned right it will do 100mph. I had a italjet dragster 125 full raced tuned to a 172 cc it pushed 22bhp and the top speed was about 98mph,and 0 o 60 was about 6sec so there are some scooters out there that can do them speed. but the small wheeels dont help when doing 90mph. it cost me about £800 to get it to do them speeds. so u wont come across alot of scooters that will beat your nsr

Yes, well, when you've never been on a particular road before, and don't know exactly where it ends, you won't tend to ride like a total loon (unless you're Zim Smile)...having the fuel tap off doesn't help either Confused

Next time Robby...Laughing

There is a jet black firestorm in Fowlers at the moment with 'firestorm' in sparkley red righting on the tank. Its is very shiny.

He was riding without insurance and has got to go to court if I am correct, he will lose his licence due to 6 points within first 2 years, however he can re-take his test straight away, so now I've actually thought about it, it's probably better him buying the firestorm now, so he can get insured (you will do that this time won't you Zim Laughing) for a reasonable price, rather than in a few months when he will have to declare the crash... loss of licence.... 6 points..... etc
