This is my home-made turbo kit. Taken me a year to build. So far it's run at 18psi of boost, and it can go to 28/30psi. Here's the chart Smile

Tomorrow and Sunday, I'll be at Woodbridge.

Look again the red run is 405hp - and since it's all on the spring (no boost controller) I'll have it in all the gears 1st-6th Very Happy

Shocked And it's only running at 18 psi of boost? Oh go on.

Bump it up to 28 psi just to take on the dyno and see what it makes for shits and giggles Wink

I would have today but I ran out of time after getting lost trying to find the race-fuel supplier. When it goes back it will make around 500hp at the wheel Very Happy

Fucking hell that really is balls out fast.

You should drag the bike over to Dubai and show the arabs how it's really done in a straight line Wink

The 400bhp is impressive but also, with no boost modulation i bet the midrange is immense!

No pics that would do it justice - it really does look terrible after I burned a hole through the fairings with the last turbo I threw them in a corner for a year whilst I built my big-power kit. It will be painted later this year and look really pretty Very Happy

Just doing some quick calcs - stock torque on a busa is about 100lbs/ft, so with more than double that mine should accellerate in 4th the same as a stocker in 1st.

Also since the stock bike will wheelie of the throttle in 2nd, at an overall-gearing of 7.28:1, this one with overall gearing in top of 3.92 and 2.1x the torque should easily hoist the wheel between 7400 and 9500 rpm (whicj is 180mph)

Noooo, personally I think fast looks so much better when it doesn't actually make people think "that's gonna be fast".
A rat-turbo busa could be interesting for the expression on people's faces when it beats them Smile.

Cheers buddy. I was supposed to be there today but never made it. I have done 11 hours work on the bike including re-making a mount for the oil scavenge pump I made as the old one wasn't man enough. Loads of other little jobs too.

Best speed today at Woody was 232mph, hopefully I can match that tomorrow, I'm geared for just under 250mph (+3 on the front and -4 on the rear).

Fucking impressive is about all I can come up with.

Impossible to imagine how that would feel. Are you taking anyone along who could take pics? We're not fussed about how pretty it looks just want to see the motor and the action shots Cool

Good luck with the run!! Thumbs Up
