We have the perenial couriers, paramedics, (virgin) taxis , blood bikes etc,

but often when I see an atheletics event say like a marathon say thelondon one or the olympics ones or even the Tour de france , you always get super close ups taken from some guy sitting backwards on a motorbike carrying a camera. Or single pilots with just the camera , where does one get such a job?. Seems less risky than a courier,

any thoughts?

well i assume they all work for different tv companies uk and foreign.
so if you want that job get in touch with the tv companies. im not sure on this but just a stab in the dark thats all.

I'd guess they hire a rider from either a professional courier firm or bike taxi outfit.
Its not something you could expect to do full-time.
