I'm planning on doing my A1 licence soon and have just been nosing round and came across this Suzuki GSF Bandit 400cc, 1991 J reg with 15k, excellent condition for £1100... already has a restrictor kit fitted.

Thoughts please! I love it already!! Laughing

Aarrgghhh, first time trying to attach a pic and it won't let me! Will attach asap...

You mean your restricted license. An A1 is where you can only ride a learner machine.(125cc) Thumbs Up

No, 125's only, thats a provisional, isnt it? I think he's right, the A1 is the restricted to 33bhp licence.

Dont know anything about the bike you're buying.

TBH now is kinda a bad time to actually buy a bike, as it's coming up to summer (well it's supposed to be here now but i see no record) everyone is thinking of buying a new bike for the summer riding, but if you have the money and really want it, go for it

i mean i am planning on doing my test soon, but unless i find a bike at a good price i won't be buying one until semptember.

cheers

matt

IMHO £1100 is expensive when you *could* get an ok, newer 600 model possibly with less miles. Add £400 and you definitly can.

The A1 license lets you ride a 125cc. The A2 lets you ride a 33bhp machine and after two years anything you like. Don't take the A1 test as it's the same as the A2 I believe.
