Try it, if it dont you normally get 7 days to rectify and problems.
Take it home, fix it, take it back.
Make sure they dont charge a re-test fee.

Not everywhere does the 7 day thing now due to it being computerised now, some even charge full price for a re-test if the work is not carried out by the testing station.

Your best bet is take it to a testing station and ask if it will pass there.

Hi

The free retests are on a limited number of failures officially. That didn't matter much before the system was computerised as plenty of places would give a free retest for pretty much any failure.

All the DEP pipes I have heard have been replacement silencers for stock expansion chambers and have been pretty quiet. Might not be fully marked as road legal, but suspect most places would pass them without batting an eyelid.

All the best

Keith
