Hi.

Ordered A 140 Tyre for the goose.

Divvy has a 130. Will A 140 fit without too many adverse affects?

It's an mt75 instead of a BT45.

Wouldn't ask, but I'm skint.

Cheers.

Providing it takes a 130 as standard, should be ok.

If you can keep an eye on it when putting it on, you should see if there's any problems.

Usually you can 10 up or down ok.

When I spoke to the tyre guy at brands when I got a 160 section fitted on the bandit which usually has a 150 section he brushed it off as if it was completely irrelevant.

He was more worried about what was on the front.

I agree with G, 10 up or down should be fine. I havn't felt any problems with my wider, lower profile tyre on the back.

Although I think I may have lost a little ground clearance. Not sure about that though.

Hi, i had a 140 on mine when i bought it.
When i replaced the tyre the guy put the 130 back on and the handling was far better, from my experience i'd go with the 130.
Hth Thumbs Up

It's a Divvy for gods sake! It isn't going to handle any better just 'cos you put a wider tyre on the back! It is a pleasant, reliable and economical workhorse. The time you will get your knee down is when you have fallen off. Laughing

Save yourself some money and get a standard tyre.

Read the post and you will realise I already ordered a 140 tyre cheap for another bike.

Not doing it for it to look good - I'm under no false pretences that the bike is a pile of shit.

It has now proven that by being stuck in top gear.

Piece of crap.
