I would be interested but Id have to investigate the cost, I shall be a poor and needy student next year Sad

Though I have heard it's the kind of event you don't want to take your bike to Confused

maybe....
but I have heard some bad stuff about it...
Everything's supposed to be really expensive, from the ferry to drinks/food etc. I think the ferry's >£100 so start with Sad so it'd be quite an expensive weekend including petrol, camping, food/drink etc)
However you *do* get to ride the TT circuit, which would be nice Smile

I hate to say it.......but G's right again.

I've heard people have had bits stolen off their bikes, had entire bikes stolen and seen them going round the circuit, money stolen etc etc, not by other bikers but actual theives who go there specifically to steal things Sad

Rolling Eyes Zim why didn't you tell us you go to the Isle of Man and nick peoples bikes and race them round the track??? Laughing

On a more positive note Smile It's a once in a lifetime oppurtunity guys, I'm sure it isn't *that* bad about having pieces nicked off your bike... but (sorry here comes another dig at zim)... if Zim went on his zxr I could see him coming home with a fully rebuilt bike Laughing

A good friend of mine has been for years and went last time - he said it's great and you just have to be sensible with your bike and don't leave it anywhere stupid!!!

i.e. outside the pub with you inside it!!!!

Yeah, but if we got about 10 ppl to go then you could leave 5 to look after the bikes and 5 to ride off, and take it in turns...
I would be at UCL in london, so i will hopefully be able to meet up with you lot on the way up, but ime not sure if i can take my bike, might get a 250 4 stroke for use at uni which probably wouldnt mind motorways as much.

hi
id be well up for that, ive always wanted to to watch TT's Very Happy, about this theft problem, due to the number of bikes at the isle of man ure about as likely to get it knicked out side your house as u are at the TT's, bikes are stolen all the time, people just dnt make that much of a fuss when its gone from outside their house, anyway id be well up for that Very Happy
