Was going round a mates at lunchtime, up...

On the way to my mates there are bollards on one side of the road every 50 yards or so to slow the traffic. I realised that I wasn't going to make it past one of the bollards as a car was coming quite fast from the other direction, so I went to slow down.

As I was slowing it felt as if I lost all drive. Then before I knew it the back end was coming round on me, I told myself to stay calm and I kept the bike going nicely then realised I had a sharp swerve ahead to miss the bollard.
Think the back wheel locked up, but I couldn't see any oil on the road surface when I went back.

Just glad I didn't come off.

Sorry for the shite story, but thought I'd share it.

I had a brown trouser moment on Friday lunchtime, a car pulled out on me whilst I was (admittedly) speeding slightly through a village. I managed to slow right down just in time to avoid him. He gave me the "You Twat!" look, but even though I was going a little fast he should still use his bloody eyes right?

Scared the life outta me though :S
