Flashed by a ferking scamera

Wondered whay was up with the scamera all the way home and was planning to call the local rozza command centre to whinge at them.

Then I noticed the number plate was hanging of at a stupid angle with one bolt when I went to sling it in the garage.

So that'll be why then, scamera must have thought it was a car up on two wheels James Bond styleeeee.

Were you speeding? If so then i doubt the computers will be able to automatically read your plate.

So if you were speeding, then it will be read manually by some little monkey and they will probably send you the fine.

May not of had a film in though, just flashing people

Speed cameras, Gatso, Truvelo, Specs... What ever. They only measure the speed of vehicles. you could have driven past pissed, smoking a spliff and a sign saying "I am Bin Laden" in place of your wonky number plate and still not got a flash.
You dont get a flash from mobile units. So you were either speeding or mistaken.
If you do get a n.i.p. then fill out the PACE statement from pepipo online and hope for the best.

Are you sure someone in the opposite direction didn't set it off?

Wouldn't worry, they are all checked anyway and if you weren't speeding you won't hear anything.

We have a broken Gatso round here, that just flashes randomly its funny watching peoples faces when they crawl past it and it flashes them.

Same thing happened to me a couple of times, my initial reaction was WTF, anyhow i get a fine for going below the speed limit. Nothing happened. The Gatso sometimes have a heart attack.Wait 2 weeks if you hear nothing then dont worry about it.

hmm thats weird... you sure it was 55?

i got speed gunned by police coming out of a vilage doing 50 other day (I know its shocking, Ill be doing 30 next time though))
she just shook her head at me in a "Im disapointed" fashion... dont know of she got my numberplate though, as I was facing the police car and the road bent to the right 50yards after.

So we've established the scamera didnt flash for the number plate - daft assumption on my part.

So dunno why it did go off, nowt coming in the opposite direction.

I've set a few scameras off when blatting it in the opposie direction.
