I saw an early picture of the MotoGp bike and was waiting to see it in the races to see if the back end looked liked it still had some seat pannel missing. It did! I think the rear end looks awfull, far to short, maybe it adds to race aerodynamics or less weight but looks very silly. Don't think any Ducati owner is gonna be too jealous on this one.

That just looks like a 'blade that's been rear-ended. I'll stick with the Desmo ta. Thumbs Up

You don't buy a Ducati for the way it looks, it's the machine's 'soul' you buy it for and there is no way any of the big Jap manufacturers will ever get 'passion' into their machines!

Not sure how much they're going for, but they're road bikes...

Not exactly. The manufacturers spend millions convincing you that you really should pay more money for a bike by persuading you it has a soul.

It's a machine.

Or you want to believe that it'll put passion into your ride because it costs more ££££ and has a trendy name Wink.
I actually thought rather a lot of Ducati owners did buy on looks? I know several that did.

I swear you're stupid. Seems to me that you are saying that owners of Japanese bikes don't buy them on looks, what a load of crap. G get over your anti ducatiness. Yes people buy ducati's for looks, some buy them just because they simply like them and want to ride for fun Thumbs Down.

People bought things like the 851 when they were a hell of a lot more expensive (in real terms) than modern ones, and were a hell of along way from being a trendy name.

All the best

Yes, I am stupid, but that is irrelevant to this discussion.
You will note that I did not say 'all ducati owners', nor did I suggest that many Japanese owners didn't buy their bikes purely based on looks and image. I infact did not mention brands based in any other countries at all.
Klause, get over your over-ducatiness-defensivness. Wink|

Although many seem to think otherwise should be, I will (for the moment) not refrain from censoring my opinions any more, even if they aren't postive to everything and everyone.

Dont shoot me, I was looking at a Ducati. Cant remember the model. I was put of it (all Ducati) When I looked in to them and read reports and owners comments it seemed that they are prone for falling apart? Is this true?

Yes. These are not the bikes you are looking for. Go about your business - move along
