Hi, im new here but im not new to biking. Ive been biking for nearly 5 years now and its nearly time for the DAS Shocked . I was just enquiring if it is a wise puchase, an ER6 as i dont want to go straight onto a Uberbike. I quite like the ER6, its different, bit quicker than 400s and good value for money. I was just wondering if anyone had any oppinions of these bikes.

Dave

i think they are great bikes. lots of people who have just passed thier DAS are getting them. they are good on the track too from what ive seen. The instructor on my track day had an ER6F and he was showing everyone up on thier R1's etc.

they look good too! and are cheap like you said. i think they are doing 0% finance on them too, but don't hold me to that!

Thanks. Ive always been a Honda man really but they dont seem to offer a "mid range" bike really. Theres the Hornet but it still has quite a lot of beans, it would be quite a jump from my NSR i think. I love the look of the ER6F especially the red and back one, the red frame just sets it off.

I had been riding around on my ER5 for about 8 months, and decided I would like to step it up a bit to the ER6.

However, when I test rode one...I found it very much like the ER5. It was very comfortable and easy to ride, and I seamnt to settle into it very quickly. Ideal first big bike. I like the quirky styling too.

however, I decided as it felt so much like my old ER5 ...and as I wanted to experience different rides, I decided to go with an SV650 instead.
