After learning from my lesson of staring at girls walking by last week, I decided to concentrate more on my riding today.

Set out from Witham at about 12ish in glorious sunshine, slight bit windy as well but nothing major.

I decided to head towards Haverhill, never been there before so was bit of guess work on how to get there.

After about 20 minutes I got stuck behind a giant truck, spraying all the surface water into my visor. I decided after following it for 2 or 3 miles to pull into a petrol station (to save me the ass ache and to maybe enjoy the ride more when I left)

Pulling into a petrol station in Sible Hedingham I noticed that there were 2 manhole covers infront of the curb leading into the petrol station. Thought I'd missed both of em then as I kicked down a gear the wheel spun and sent the rear wheel a bit AWOL.
Managed to keep everything together and eventually filled up my tank.

So setting out again I got into a small village called Great Yeldham, and it started pissing it down. Found more great roads to go with the ones I found last week. I just couldn't enjoy them as much as I wanted to though coz I didn't want to push myself on unfamiliar roads in such shit weather.

Finally got into Haverhill, but the weather had started to make me feel really cold and couldn't feel my hands properly. So I decided to turn back. Otherwise I would have spent the day in the town, seemed quite a nice place.

Coming back and wheel stepped out on a corner but managed to pick up on it quick enough to deal with it Smile

Thanks for reading, sorry if ya bored of this post. Cool

Apology accepted. Laughing

Just kidding, its been pissing down where i live ALL weekend, I've wanted to go for a ride on my FMX650 but i just cant be bothered.. And got to feel sorry for those who wanted to ride on the bank holiday Monday.. although with all the police presence I have been hearing its a good thing that we're having such bad weather. Smile

Just the thought of going out with all my stuff on right now just to get wet isn't a good one. Doubt I would enjoy myself right now. Mad

And i hate the spray from following vehicles, pretty much go blind. Sad

What do you ride by the way?

edit: Read your signature.. are those off road tyres on that back? Rolling Eyes Twisted Evil

Na, they aren't off road tyres. Just very skinny, the front tyre could probably fit a bmx comfortably Laughing
