Varadero xl1000v

Lo everyone,

The question im wondering about is whether it would be rediculous to restrict a varadero 1000, please dont think me a complete numpty, It's 96bhp as standard but would it be completely crippled by a restriction or would the torque be enough?

Also obviously would restricting such a large twin be a mechanical no no.

Im not here to be told its too big a bike for a first big bike either Cool

..

But any advice on restriction will be taken graciously!

Yes you can restrict anything you want.....Of course it might be a little jurky in 1st gear due to the holdback of power butyeah it will be ok.

I restricted a Suzuki Bandit 1200 at 100 and something Bhp so the Varadero will be fine I am sure. Plus on a good side it is a V-Twin so it should take less time to fit and only two washers that would need fitting. So it might cost you less to do it.
