Hello there i am new to biking bought a suzuki intruder vl 125 and am real problems with the clutch compared to the CG 125 i learnt on. I am letting the clutch out slowly but the bike still seems to jump away, also the biting point seems to quite far out is there anyway to change this? any advice would be much appreicated thanks

If its jumping about when you let the clutch out i find alittle more revs deals wih that. My ybr will pull away at 4,000rpm but sometimes 6 if i want to really launch off. And that suzuki looks abit heavier than the CG so it may need alittle more revs to get it going. And also the action needs to be smooth all theway open if you stop abit and then dump the clutch it will Jump. Its just a case of getting on an empty road and practicing for a couple of hours. Does a wonder of good.

To adjus the clutch i beleave theres a screw on the clutch lever, im not entilerly shore to be ohnest. The owners manual should tell you how to adjust it to your liking. Maybe someone on here with the same bie can help.

am on me way out now i'll give it ago it does seem a lot heavier and 2 hell with trying figure of 8s again that was a disaster thanks for getting back so quickly

there should be a barrel adjuster on the cable that attaches to the clutch lever

adjust it so the bite points where you want it to be

thanks for the advice i'll have look tomorrow c what i can do. There is rust coming out the bottom of the cable the bike has done 10,000 miles and from what i can tell has not been looked after would you advise getting a new cable thanks again
