Hi guys,
I was recommended to you by a friend who has used this forum before.
Im 17 and im looking for a 125cc bike which has a sport bike look to it. Ive been looking at this bike here which a friend is offering to sell me for £250. Now, for this price there must be something wrong with it! But i went to see it the other day and all seems to be fine! Heres the bike...https://www.mgaimports.co.uk/product_info.php/pName/mga-skyjet-cbr125-cb

As the tittle says its an import which ive been told is BAD! Now, if this isnt the best bike to buy, could somewhere point me to where i may find a better one? My budget goes up to around £600.

Thanks in advance,
Matt

its a chinese import... never buy a 2nd hand one EVER. you dont know whats happened to it.

look for a CBR, if you hunt around you may find one for about £600 if you're lucky. the longer and harder you look, the better deal you get!
ie: my GSXR400, cost me £200 and needs little work doing to it.

Ebay is really good and you don't need to member to look it also gives you a good idea of what people are willing to pay therefore what you should pay. It may not look cool but if a bike has few scrapes as mine does don't worry these are often the cheapest go for a brand you know. Honda, Suzuki, Yam have some of the best 125's and aren't badly priced on ebay

Plus 4 days after i got mine i stopped put the side stand down and the bike fell the other way a few more little scratches i always said before gettin the bike that i would never drop it and get it looking perfect don't think that'll be happening for a while yet

My mate had chinese import also the skyjet. £1200 on the road brand new 6 months on its a reck and mite be like cbr125 but it has kick start which could bring up problems when gettin parts

with the chinese bikes, the engines are bullet proof because they are basically re branded honda's, but EVERYTHING attatched to them is a pile of crap.
