attempted bike theft advice please

Hey well when riding home today at about 10 mph some kid threw his pushbike infront of me and said get off your bike or else you stole my push bike so im taking yours, well i wasnt letting some little prick take my bike so i happily rode over his push bike and knocked him out of the way with the front of my bike and fucked off before his backup caught me, what will the police do if he reports me ect ?

For running over his pushbike. He could just deny trying to nick firefox's bike, that he just dropped his bike and it was then run over. I doubt he would report it.

Personally, I'd report the incident to the police just in case. I'm sure you wouldn't have run over his pushbike unless it was your only way out (I mean, you don't want a flat tyre, eh). Just explain this to the police. I'm not 100% sure how it would work out in this case, but I think it would probably be your word against his. I don't know whether or not you'd have to pay for the damage for his pushbike, though.
