I have always suffered from cold hands on the bike and seeing as the new bike is without heated grips I bought myself some of the pantheons (sp) from Hein Gericke.

I think they are amzing but the trouble is they are too warm for summer, so am looking to get a pair of summer gloves. Most the gloves have those stupid hard knobbly knuckles which I hate, anyone got any suggestions for a good summer pair that doesn't have those on?

ERM well since you went to hein gericke go back to them for a summer pair! with out hard armour around the knuckles, but remember without those around your fingers and if you do slide maybe you would of wished for them in the beginning as they do protect the finers from knocks just remember a buy a pair that fits well try also ride magazine for the reviews of past tests also on their web-site to for download.

I've just brought a nice pair of Alpinestars short summer gloves and although they still have the armour it's on the back of the hand and they are sooo comfy.

Not cheap mind but IMO worth paying the extra for.

I have the winter road tech alpinestars but I tried both of ride's recommended gloves from alpinestars and found they could give more room in the thumb for when you switch the high-beam on/off and indicators etc other than this the winter gloves are WELL warm! and a good buy apart from the lack of thumb room
