day 2 finished yesterday n all is going go0oo0o0o0od. part from the fact that it didnt stop raining, got a rain suit which worked a treat apart from my gloves which just got soaked.
ive been told that no gloves are compleatly water proof.

Gore-tex.

I upgraded to a set of Racer Gore-tex gloves a while ago (find motorcycle shows for decent end-of-line deals). Your problem then limits itself to keeping the water from dribbling down your cuffs instead, but that's a bit more manageable.

Best 'o luck.
