Right, My bike has currently got 1800miles on it, It was serviced once at 800miles, and since then i've not really done anything with the bike apart from tightening the chain. But i'm going to do a oil change and top up the brake fluid within the next few days. My question is, I don't actualy know what brand of Brake Fluid or what brand of Motor Oil there's currently in the motorbike. I know I have to drain the oil from the engine and I know how to do it, my problem is, theres naturaly going to be a little bit of oil left in the engine. Will there be problems if a different brand of engine oil mixes with the tiny bit left in the engine?

Highly unlikely to be any problems.

The brake fluid reservoir usually has the sort of brake fluid to use embossed on the top of it. Usually either Dot3 or Dot4.

Thats good to hear. Am I right in believing I have to change the oil filter with every engine oil change?

Some bikes call for a filter change every other oil change. I persoanlly disregard this and change it every time.

Mind you, you on a 125? Some of them just have a gauze filter which you rinse out.

If in doubt, consult your owners handbook/workshop manual. Both should have a service schedule printed in them.
