Reports are coming in that the Beeb have published a non-bike-bashing news article. Parliament is being recalled and all police leave is cancelled.

Most residents are in support of the TT. Those that don't like it generally go away for 2 weeks and rent their houses out for vast amounts of money...everyone's a winner!

Personally, I absolutely love it. Why people complain about it is beyond me! So roads get closed, etc, but it's not that difficult to move around, especially with the access road running under Braddan Bridge.

There's a saying here on the Island when people start to slag the place off: "If you don't like it, there's a boat in the morning"!. Wink
