my first cover cost about £60 thought it would last several years but 14 months on had worn out at the seat and handlerbars !

Order an oxford for about £50 on the net but failed to arrive !

Order anther oxford for about £35 but they sent me one for a cycle Rolling Eyes

So go into my local bike shop and brought a motrax for £35 ,fits really bad (as its got just one centre seam)and the elastic ends would not stay on if you sneezed on it ! So use a bungee to try and hold down and the cover just splits !

So has anyone managed to get a decent cover that lasts more than a year and stays on ?

Got one off ebay for around £12 all in and one from Aldi for £9 - both seem to be doing ok.

Wouldn't expect them to last a decent number of years, but you could get quite a few more for the same price to be fair.

I got mine from these people for £40. It's made of some type of compressed/woven fibre and is now in its 3rd year of use. Weatherproof with a soft(ish) lining, it has webbing straps with clip-buckles that go through both wheels and keep the cover secure, plus a pair of brass-edged eyelets in the lower centre for a padlock.
