Failed test............

........ah well, failed my practical last week for putting my foot down on a U turn and skidded on the emergency stop....... Sad

the road was rather poor and was loose stone on the worn areas and the bike just picked up, otherwise i had 4 minors

how long do you have to wait before a re-test Question

Bad luck, I think the waiting is 10 days but I'm not sure but you can rebook it straight away, good luck for next time, you will be fine Very Happy

Sorry to hear that, I failed mine yesterday... U-turn and e-stop went well, but didn't do enough mirror checks and life savers... You can re-book straight away, next test date has to be at least 10 working days away. Good luck on round 2, hope you ace it.

someone told me the other day they failed for the same reason
better to put your foot down then fall off!
dont be disheartened though Smile

i didnt complete my CBT the other day because i have some balance issues...needless to say i fell off Razz

im doing it again on saturday
all we can do is try again Thumbs Up

its ironic really as ive been riding 40 mile round trip last week and the amount of stops at speed i did no problem......

i even practised before the test, think its was nerves but the next test i will be better prepared.

i hate doing emergency stops and controlled stops, i think its becuase know i have to get up to speed, keep an eye in the examiner/instructor and your also anticipating him putting his hand up, its not the most fun thing to do.
i've got my next test next monday.

trying to guess when the hand goes up on a emergency stop helps to fail the task.
Try not to think of it, if you have good vision then it will happen naturally.
But that maybe easy for me to say.

When it came to my U-turn, I was either making it around or dropping the bike - my feet weren't moving off those pegs!

I also noted that examiners are generally jerks, I had mine have a go at me for missing a turn when I couldn't hear him over the car radio (not to mention it's perfectly fine to do so) and then he added another 2 minors when we were back at the test centre.
I still passed, 4 minors total... all for observation. My instructor was stunned - he told me that if anything I spent too much time observing!
