While I was learning I had a Kymco Cruiser, (now handed on to the wife for her to learn and ride) Passes my test end of Feb and got my Brand New GV650, Its in Blue with all the extras fitted/ windsreen, engine bars, back rest and rack. It looks great and is wonderful to ride, I will recommend it to all.

While I was doing my lesson the instructer kept on to me about my speed being to low and to get a move on, When I did my test the examiner gave me a minor for driving too slow, I though "I dont need to go to fast I am happy with my speed and the more carefull and slower I am the less chance of coming off...

That came back to bite me in the ass, Rounding a sharp hair pin going up hill, Guess what, I was in to high gear going to SLOW and whamo next thing the wife on the back and I were lying on the floor with a GV650 on top of us, No one was hurt only my wallet, I need a new clutch and mirror assembly a new foot peg and bracket for the pillion a new indicator and a rebuilt ego, (too bloody slow HA)

Still love the bike though
Tony

Ah these things happen, glad no-one was hurt except from the wallet. Don't know how much an ego will cost to fix, sounds pricey! Wink
