hello, im new to the site and would like some advice if it's possible!
just aquired a yam viragoxv535 and havin a few problems with it.when out on the road it backfires and the front cylinder keeps missing out not a very good state at the mo, it sounds very poorly.
anyone out there in the lancs region or anywhere able to give advice other than to ride it into the sea at high tide?
all in all it was a good buy as it didn't cost an arm and a kidney, and it is a 97 reg,not in bad nick.
any help and advice would be greatly appreciated-believe me!!!!!!

Not knowing what bike that is(and too tired to search Google lol) I'd sat pop it to a garage and ask their advice, or wait to see if any people who would no reply here... Thumbs Up oh, posting in Workshop section might help too Thumbs Up .

the virago is usually a good bike I had mine for years.
I'd check the plugs first and then the coils, you may have a corroded wire.
Also check the VSOC site and viragotech as both have expert knowledge of that bike

good luck
