Perhaps someone could create a thread for people going on a tour so that if any interested parties wanted to tag along they could.
I for one would love to join Feef and co on their tour but i cant get that amount of holiday off for a start.
I had planned to go to norway this year but thats all gone down the shitter as per usual with my recent house buying. Embarassed
But i would still like to go away for a few days (4 ish) in france so that i can of been somewhere this year. Confused

I'm away for the first three weeks of July, but it's probably not the most interesting tour from a biking point of view, and I'm doing it on a sidecar outfit so the riding will be painfully slow for anyone riding with me on a solo bike.

If I get my new bike soon I want to do a short tour but it won't be fast paced at all (I'm not that way inclined)

Pick a site Laughing https://www.motobotc.co.uk/frenccamp.htm
Im on holiday from the 9th of july till the 16th but can only be away for 4 days unfortunately. So i can either go on the 9th and come back on the 12th/ 13th at a push or go on the 12th and come back on the 16th. I might be able to get a day longer if needs be, most of the good campsites are well into france it seems.
This site seems fairly popular Question https://www.motocamp.com/motocamp.nsf
I'll be fitting new chain and sprockets/airfilter to my bike this month and i'll be good to go.

Saxony in Germany for a couple of days to visit family, Czech republic for a weekend for an extreme metal/hardcore music festival, Slovakia for 3 or 4 days of mountaineering, and back via Austria/Switzerland/the alps.

I'm half tempted to see if I can get to Athens and back in 2 weeks later this summer, if I do decide to go it'll be a last minute thing though.

I wouldn't Shocked You'd do it but it would be expensive and tiring.

Plus there's a surprisingly limited amount of interesting things in Greece besides the climate, and the same goes for Athens. The Balklans on the other hand is well worth riding through and warrants a trip of its own. The Adriatic highway down the Croation coast is fantastic and you'll see bikes from all over the continent on there.

Yeah that's what my sensible side is telling me. The Balkans are the main attraction for me on that route, I've seen pictures of the coastal highway, could easily see myself cruising down that in a t-shirt Drooling
