Finally managed to get throught someone locally and have booked it for 30.06.07. Paid for it, £95 gear, and bike included. Anyways I had this email.
When using a bike supplied by BIKE TRAINING YOU are responsible for the first £300 damage, an excess on your fully comprehensive insurance. However for a fee of £10 you may waiver this.
So potentially i could if something goes wrong i would have to pay for the damages. Shall I get the extra cover? is it worth it?
All I need now is a 125 bike ____________________ Bike Level: Amateur | CBT Passed

Yes, worth a tenner. I nearly dropped a CG125 taking it off the stand and I fell off a scooter doing a U-turn on my first CBT, both in the first off-road elements of the course . I am rather clumsy though.
Another benefit I can think of is that once you have paid the tenner you will not be worrying about the excess if you tumble, which could cause you to become more tense and therefore more likely to make a mistake.
Good luck on the day |
