Does anyone know if these are the same company? Basically my bizzarre story goes as follows;

Arrow May 1st I order from M&P some streetfighter bar clamps that I desperately needed, and a few other odds and sods to make the £6 postage worthwhile.

Arrow Couple of days later order arrives with bar clamps on back order.

Arrow Few weeks pass so I ring to be told they aren't due till the end of month.

Arrow At the end of the month I'm sent an email that they will be the end of June now. Not best pleased, I spend an hour googling and find another online company- 'thefastone' that sells similar and order them, along with another £6 postage, which I'm willing to pay as I'm getting more desperate being 4 weeks later!

Arrow Clamps arrive, but with a reciept identical to M&P's, exactly the same address except the company name, but the VAT number is the same. Credit card had been debited under the name of M&P too Exclamation

I can't quite work it out. Not only have I had to wait 5 weeks, I have paid twice for postage, and have been given the run around.

Rant over, Anthony

Yes they are the same company I think....

I bought a pair of tyres from thefastone a few months back and paid for next day delivery, when I didn't get them I phoned and ended up being passed through to M&P, got email conformation of my order from M&P....

Lesson I learnt was that there online systems are shit, and they dont know what each other sells on their site....

The FastOne
Phoenix Way
Garngoch Industrial Estate
Swansea
SA4 9HN

M&P Direct
Phoenix Way
Garngoch
Gorseinon
Swansea
SA4 9HN

Looks like they're on the same industrial estate.
Could be the same company, but I kinda doubt it since they sell more or less the same things.
Perhaps Thefastone is some sort of subsiduary dealer for M&P? Iuno.

It's only six quid.

Not so long ago thefastone used to be called MPS, bit of a coincidence?

Definately one and the same, someone told me that Busters were owned by the same people?

Either way they are both arses to deal with.

They will be two sister company's operating under the same address yet have registered with VAT etc as two separate company's.

A few years back they went into receivership so i reckon you will find they are all one company and it will be some legal way they can carry on trading, keep an eye on your account to make sure you haven't been billed twice.

MPS, The Fastone, M&P & Busters Accessories are all the same company.

I visit Swansea often and I've used their shops. Buster's is the parent company.

Mmmm all sounds a bit fishy. Cheers for your input.

It's not so much the fact I'm out of pocket £6, but the fact I was messed around for 4 or 5 weeks when clearly there were stocks available to be sent out.

I have placed around 20-25 orders over the past months whilst doing up my bike, and I suspect only about 25% have gone through problem free. The rest have been either lost, delayed, out of stock, damaged or incorrect. It really really annoys me.

Anthony.
