Hey,

This maybe a silly question but i thought i may ask anyway.

I'm off to see Marillion live at leeds tomoz. The last time i went i suffered from the dreaded tinnitus which never left me Sad

This time im gonna go prepared.

I use earsoft fx earplugs(For riding) and was wondering whether these would protect my hearing adequatley at a concert.

Cheers,
Shaun.

i agree, you go to a concert for the whole sensual experience. tinnitis is just something you have to deal with. clears up after a day or two anyway.

if you're really serious though then speak to a doctor about it or something. or get shoddy foam to put in your ear to just dampen it.

Depends who you are going to see... it might be a better concert with your ears blocked! Laughing

Just keep away from the speakers and stay a fair distance back! I saw the Misfits playing and it was soooooooooo damn loud!

Just bear in mind that if any of the hardcore fans see you with earplugs in you will end up on the floor.

Hey,

Took my earplug and the music actually sounded better!! (Not that the music was bad or anything)

And i did stand there and put my earplugs in, in front of loads of people. I had absolutley no problems.

Id like to be able to hear the music when i'm 40 and not have my life ruined my tinnitus.

Cheers,
Shaun.

Earplugs filter all the crap out anyway at close quarters live gigs so you crudely get a more pure sound.

Got mine packed for download although i dont think ill be venturing to the front of the main stage, but u never know Cool
