To sell or not to sell

right ive just got an sv1000s now the time has come for me to make up my mind wether to sell my old cb500 or not, its a 99 bike with 28k on the clock in good working order.

now i was thinking would it be better/cheeper for me to just keep this bike and use it to comute 4 miles to work and back every day on, or should i sell it and commute on my tire munching sv?

i would like to keep both but cant make up my mind so you lot can do it for me.

I commute daily on mine (650), usually an entire days commuting is only around 6-8 miles but i do do ride it all the time every day all year round. No problem with it tyres wise, and a bit more fun to commute on.

If you can afford to keep both though why not keep them, unless you want the cash for exhaust system etc

i have been commuting on my sv, but im a heavy fisted nob and have no restraint when it comes to speed limits and by how much i break them, i fried my rear tire on sunday on a 300 mile ride. i have enough cash to keep both if i insure the cb tpft

and to be fair the cb is a commuting tool.
