Couple of years back I was heading towards the city down the Small Heath bypass in Brum, The road runs parallel to the canal and the railway line to Stratford. I looked to my left and there was a steam train along side me headed towards Moor St Station, the driver looked at me and waved.
For about 30 seconds We were neck and neck until I had to stop at a roundabout and he headed for the checkered flag.

I've raced clios, corsas, fiestas, BMWs, golfs, etc off the lights in my VW Scirocco, and also beaten the chavs in a VW Caravelle (van), but only off the lights... I don't race them as such, as I am not a chav, and I'll save my racing where possible to a track day... Wink

Tunnel vision and one petrol stop.

Those things are absolutely immense.
We had one that did the rounds in front of the flat when I lived in Roundhay, I swear the thing used to mount the pavements at about 70.

Mad!! I bet the garbagemen spent their time souping the things up.

i used to regularly get over taken/ beat off the mark/ cant keep up withj the 529 double decker bus, quite embarasing for a bike that played its tune at about 150db due to a huge hole in the exhaust, half covered with kitchen foil

Yes, minimotos have been going for years, Rossi/capirossi/melandri all started on minimoto, and the majority of british bike racing talent started off on them. then at the end of 2004 the chinese crappy imports started selling for £200 which made them acessable to your average chav, top spec race minimotos cost around the 2k mark. The races/championships are as strict as any other bike racing championship. so erm yeah the chavs ruined it for us really.

Heres me back in '04
