I guess you're talking about de-restriction? The bike won't have been made or shipped restricted. It'll have been fitted afterwards so shouldn't be too difficult to find. Check the carb and the exhaust. Or call a bike shop and ask how the restrictors work

they are in exactly the same place as on the nsr... basically take off the airbox, take off the carbs (they are all attatched together) then look down the rubbers, taadaa there they are, remove em, bolt on the carbs, and bolt on the airbox... done!

Stoppies are easy. And great!!!

Brake quite hard then as the weight goes over the front wheel lean forward and brake harder. Voila!! Back wheel is off the floor!

I did my 1st 2 stoppies ever on Sat at BdB. Easy enough and good fun too. Ask Stew! He saw up real close Twisted Evil
The front doesn't skid because you're intentionally braking and shifting your weight.

Start by braking slowly*, this 'weights' the front which gives the front tyre a lot more grip... if you pull it on suddenly it's much more likley to slide.

* Well don't just yank the lever back, make sure it's fairly progressive.

nah... over 100's fine cos the air stream keeps you straight... it's around 60-80 that seems the worst because the backend tend's to come round a bit, while the front stays going in the same direction Confused

with the back wheel in the air?... 130, though I doubt it was more than 30cm up and I was obviously slowing down due to braking quite hard Smile

Not quite true. Japanese market bikes are pretty much all restricted, but have been for so long that they are designed to make that much power. From memory it is 45hp for a 250, 60hp for a 400 and 77hp for bikes over that.

All the best

Keith
