Pretty much as the title. If people can put down that they are Klingon as a religion on National cenus can we put down biking/Biker.

Follow me on this

1) Most of us regulary meet up on a Sunday

2) We have our own set of rules and guideline towards each other

3) We have our own easily reconised symbols or our "religion" - Helmets etc.

4) We have our own Gods:- Rossi, Hailwood, Lamkin et el.

5) Been known to make regular prays (oh my god please stop Wink )

Like Christians we have different diciplines of our religion

Sports Bikers
Cruiser
Off Roaders
Stunters

etc

No, religion is a method of controlling the masses through fear and ignorance. Doesn't sound like biking to me.

Its the moses of our religion. A tool sent down by the gods to show the rest of the world how it is done.

Religion is based on mythology, but that doesn't mean that all mythology is part of religion. Thinking

biking is absolutely not a religion as far as im concerned, i stay well away from religion, it causes wars and is causes hatred towards other people that dont believe in their beliefs. this doesnt sound like biking to me.

It could be the only harmonized religion? On a serious note, what classes someone as a biker anyway?

oh, and the McGee thing was in jest(like the legend of 98R1), before anyone effectively flames me for it.

How about being double-penetrated by both a donkey and an evil clown, who throughout lets enormous belly-laughs break forth, periodically spraying you with vomit that smells of bacon.
On Cleethorpes seafront.
While fifty old ladies point and laugh.

To the sound of 'Yakkety Sax'.

I had to vote No, mainly because being brought up in a Catholic family, I got very dissillusioned by organised religion in my youth, and refused to be forced into a way of life that I didn't agree with.

For me, biking is not a religion, it's my chosen way of life, my hobby, my stress relief, even my drug at times.
I don't take any illegal drugs, and I rarely drink, so biking adrenaline is my main "fix" Thumbs Up Wink

Not for me. It's just something I love doing. I think there's definitely a certain culture attached to it though, which for me is part of why I like it...

Religion was only invented so that we didn't eat with dirty hands or shag dirty women. But if we did we could give someone money and say we are sorry and all would be ok again.

When you think about it religions are based on common sence and to prevent illness and be happy with your lot.

Bikes are there to forget common sence and only be happy when you have more than you should. Biking is an illness that has no cure. I'm just glad I'v been contaminated.
