Ok without sounding like too much of a CHAV, Once I get my CBT done and get my 125 bike i will need to have a pair of L plates on the bike. Now my questions are, the standard size L plates, is it possible to get slightly smaller ones. If so is it legal?

Short answer: No.
The size of the plates is laid down by an act of parliament. If a copper was being arsey and decided to measure them, you could be done.
Unlike small numberplates which incurr a fine of £30-40 and a rectification notice, missing/defective L-plates carry a £60 fixed penalty and three points on your licence (per missing plate, so that's £120 and 6 points if it's both of them). ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. Also, I thought it was £30 + 3 points per plate? Ive only just put a front back on(it was only off for a week) ____________________ Roger wrote: Women don't get damp for clingy puppies. Get some better happy pills, hit the gym & buy a medallion the size of a dinner plate. Job done |
