Is great fun!!
Me, Soulrider and Rift took a turn off a road in which is supposed to be an area to eat and drink, like a picnic area. But all we found was a chalky road that went around the field, so we followed it as far as we could, then we get to a tight overgown grass track, I was about to turn round and head back but Chris was determined to go through it, so the journey begins...

Starts of okay, few pot holes here and there, branches hitting your arms etc, but then after about a few hundred meters the trenches from the cars start to really suck in the tyres and the squirming began, the rest of the trip was basically pissing ourselfs as we had to work soo hard to keep the bike upright, don't know how none of us came off as we we literally going sideways as the back wheel would get stuck in the groove and the front would be on opposite lock to try and keep the thing straight.

Blah blah blah, so yea, now we are on the look for a cheapy offroader, as this aspect of biking is soo fun. We will also try to video our next visit there if we dare.

Sounds familiar Laughing getting lost in rural Wales usually results in the same thing. Summer's bringing back memories of being 16/17 with a crosser... quite tempted to get some sort of trail bike Embarassed

Yea you must have great places out there. Your roads are sweet too, riding through wales at 2-3am to get to Fishguard last year was awesome, soo smooth, hardly any camera's!!

But, yea, it was just the challenge of keeping balanced, was hard when the overgrown grass covers all the tracks Shocked but the amount of steering input made it great fun, real challenging and had to concentrate soo hard.
Also we passed a lone cyclist who actually waved as we went passed him, must of thought it was quite brave.

Got out eventually to find our belly pans had half a field stuck all over them Laughing

Off-roading much fun, especially on proper bikes. My first decent experience of it was on a DR600, abiet with road tyres on supermoto rims that didn't have the road legal 1mm of tread.

Talking to a fellow racer, they reckoned standing up on a sports bike when grass tracking helps with the control.

Well at one point the roads stopped and we was riding the grass next to farmers fields, only marks left were from tractors, we even passed a push bike. Laughing

I kept laughing yesterday everytime i thought of it, was so much fun we have to do it again, even if its on the road bikes Very Happy
