Hello, I’ve got huge problems I’ve tried to derestrict my 2001 NSR and its gone tits up
The exhaust was fine although Honda have now welded a 20mm line rather than a blob weld to hold the restricter in place.
Any ways off come the fairings, away comes the tank, I pull off the airbox. Well so far so good then I come to the tray to which the Servo motor is connected. I’ve no way in hell of removing this tray I made the HUGE mistake of trying to remove the top of the servo motor in a hope to give me more freedom to remove the tray SHIT! Out falls the gears for the servo motor! Put all them in place and I still cant get the fecking tray out. Its bolted on the left next to the electric’s like on korn’s but where its meant to be bolted on the other side its held in place by a rod to which it slots into and also further along the tray on the same side next to the servo motor its impossible to pull away from the frame and the bloody wiring loom stops it moving more. Basically I can’t get to the carb to remove the intake tract that restricts the mixture, what can I do??? I need help here
I’ve looked for ways to remove the tray and it just won’t budge and the servo motor seems to be attached to it or something please give help and advice
