...I've just had a quick ganders at this months RIDE mag, and noticed a few things:

1.) They tell ppl not to buy an NSR (unless "you intend to stay on a restricted 125 forever")Confused
2.) They tell ppl not to an R6 as a first big bike.
3.) The VFR is the best 400! (compared with CBR, FZR, and GSX-R) Smile...they didn't do an RVF though Sad

Hmm...they also recommend the RS125 instead! Confused

Goose: there's a long article where one of the writers is riding a CBR250 through Ireland.

but they dont have to worry about the things we do such as reliability, to them it's which bike handles and runs the best not the long term.

AAahhhh, but if you go back about a year or so....they seem to disagree with that 400 article!! They claim in a four page special on the CBR400 that it is the *BEST ALL ROUND* 400 on the market!!

Hmmm RiDE.. = goldfish

Well, they were saying that the seating position was too extreme and focused etc...

I dunno what they mean by that article cos I found the R6 a great first (600) bike - if you keep the revs low its a fairly calm beast.. takes a real thrashing to make it go quickly.. riding position isnt much different to any supersports 600.. pah - what do magazines know!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing
