Hi & welcome

Yes its easyer on a 500 - I laughed when I got told this, but seriously its a nicer feel.
Test is fine, just relax (hard I know) But I pass first time and I rode like I had done the previous days.

First off - does it matter if it's hard?

Seeing that you get unlimited attempts, just take it easy and don't worry about failing.

Why not get yourself to an industrial estate or similar and practice lots of u-turns. I did this before my test and didn't have a problem - on a few days I spent a solid half hour+ just doing U-turns until I was completely comfortable with them.

I echo what G says....when I was getting ready for my test, I practised the main manouevres on a local industrial estate, early evening time, when it had quietened down.

U turns Rolling Eyes If I could Id go back with my instuctor for the day to try them again. Absolute hopeless on a 125, im sure we spent more time laughing at me, then me doing then. Once they put you on the 500, you we see how smooth the turns are - clutch control is alot better and you feel in control Thumbs Up

I did that 2 days before my test and it all of a sudden snapped into place and each one was good - Even the one of my test (And I managed to do that one in about 6 foot!)
