I got myself one of those SIGMA mountain bike speedo's, reads upto 184 mph, as well as clock, stopwatch, average speed, distance, time of journey and lots of other stuff too, fit in ten mins, works ace..
I only got mine to read upto 74.6mph, then the magnet flew off, easy to replace though. Very Happy

Is it a bit slow to read the speed??? You accelerate a fair bit faster on a motorbike than a push bike!!??
Very Happy Dyl

At the end of the day, it shouldn't matter that it's made for a mountain bike - a magnet passing a reed switch will work at any acceleration.

Beware tho that these are NOT as accurate as a correct clock on your bike and speed cameras are gonna need to be watched for.

I find it has no problem, after all, you should be watching the next 100yards, NOT THE SPEEDO.

Interesting point though, it is perfectly in sync with my "stock" speedo, until about 50mph, when the stock speedo starts to "accelerate" a bit, I guess this is down to my normal speedo being "optimistic.

To prove this ..I saw an indicated 165 on my stock speedo, the digital one records and logs your max speed, it said 154mph. Probably closer to the truth, I will do the maths in a min, ie, gear ratio X rpm, that will allow me to double check the speed against a known non variable.
