Lo all you guessed it someone crashed into me again Sad

spent 8 hours in hospital yesterday.

Pulled up at some traffic lights in south croydon, they were red as they changed i pulled away, after around 15 meters a car in the oncoming lane decided to do a u turn across my path, no indication, didnt check up the road. Guess he assumed as his side hadnt started moving yet the other lane must be clear, he piled into the side of me another meter he would have hit the back of my bike instead his bumpe slammed into my ankle, i lost control and slid the bike a short way. Got up only to find my right leg wasnt working properly..... second he ehard the police were called he moved his car from the position it was in the road into a side road and told them he was turning into the side road. Luckily for me the people in the car behind him disagreed strongly Smile

and made sure the police officer knew that he didnt indicate and had actuly overshot the corner by several meters. Got all his insurance details foudn the bike battered but rideable.... managed to ride her home before collapsing in my drive. Got taken to hospital xrayed, nothing broken but all the bones in my ankle are bruised and slightly out of place enough to cause a fuck load of pain. Thank got for my boots!

dont think i will be attending boxhill this sunday..... should be able to ride withing a couple of weeks but the zzr needs new fairings, a new indicator, new mudgaurd, exhaust scratched to hell!.

oh well going to take him to the bloody cleaners!

will always remember him telling the police "he came out of no where in the centre of the road" despite the 5 meter long scrapes along the concreate where my bike had slid which kinder dissproved it! The people in the car behind were great when he started saying bull shit they stood up for me "sorry officer but this man is talking shit" Rolling Eyes

im not feeling to bad, my foots in bandages, all my right hand side feels sore and i have bruises on the contact points, top marks for my safety gear through if i'd been wearing trainers it would have crushed my entire leg into my bike!

will get some pics taken of the damage as soon as im able the forks seem ok but the wheel alignment is out.

Im feeling better today, should be able to walk properly withing the week, thxs all for the well wishes, this is the reason we wear safety gear dread to think what i would look like now if id been wearing trainers, shorts and a tshirt doesnt bear thinking about.....

I was wearing an akito textile jacket, spidi racing boots, alpine star sp2 gloves, jeans and a roof diversion helmet.

Full marks to all of them provided great protection! my jeans through had a nice tear from the botom to 3/4 of the way up my boot Shocked

well not a tear more like a stright cut straight through the fabric and into the side of my boot! now that would have hurt!
