Whats the best way to dry leathers off?

Just leave them be or blow some hot air through them (hanging above a heater?)

Totally got caught out at my weekly bike meeting in the wrong gear, was sunny and warm when I left, 3 hours later it was a downpour and got soaked.

I usually throw mine on the floor in the living room next to where I took them off. If they are really soaked I hang them on the back of a chair

Does it not shrink a bit then? Just thought there was a way of doing it?

Oh well, just leave it be then.

Airing cupboard? Just try to avoid direct heat like a radiator as it will dry the leather out a bit (although I suppose if you feed the leather after, it shouldn't hurt).

I'll just try and make sure the leathers are at least hanging up if they're wet, so they dry off a bit quicker.

Hang then up and let them dry naturally. Do not put them on a heater.

Hang them up somewhere dry. 24hrs...
No direct heat.
Open the zippers and pull out the padding and pockets.
(Feed the leather....?
Mine just eat flies.....
And grease of Curry N Chips... Rolling Eyes )

Use the operchancity to clean them.
Soft nail brush and saddle soap. Read the label. (Do Not Eat)
When dry get a leather cream to poof them up a bit.
The oils weep out of leather naturally so once in a while treat them.
They go all lovely and soft too. awwwww....

The manufacturer of the leathe radds the oil before the tailor buy the skins.

Do not wee in them in the first place. Put a broomstick through the arm-holes and hang them from that they will distort less due to better weight distribution.
No direct heat, stuffing them full of newspaper helps absorb moisture and gives you a sort of headless Gimp to impress the neighbours.

you'll probly get white marks coming from the leather when they dry.. dont worry thats the salt, get some nicwax or something like that and rub it into your leathers,
or even boot polish if your that way inclined

Or jizz, but that depends why it got all sweaty in the first place..

If you can get your hands on some silica gel that works well on boots so I'd imagine it'd work on leathers.. put them on the radiator and there reuseable.

Definitely don't force it dry with heat + if possible use some "leather food" every so often, supposedly works wonders, worth the effort i reckon, not as it leathers are cheap.

If they've never been wet before they might shrink a bit. First time you get them wet, keep them on until they're dry.
