Hi, oil needs changing in my fzr600r 94, i am unsure which to use and how much it will need, any advice? thanks.

Hi

from the Autodata book, 2.9L of 20W40 SE grade oil (about 1 grade up from chip fat). So pretty much any 20W40 bike oil, and most 20W40 car oils.

Not much use to this thread but:
I recently made chips in that stuff.
I do not think it is possible to make them any better in that PC oil stuff. Thumbs Up

Hi

Personally I would use a 10W40. Just don't thrash it when cold (which you shouldn't anyway). A 10W30 is listed for colder climates.
