so right im on a moped, so as the norm people on superbikes think hair dryer well today i thought i was cocky racing bikes off the lights as i jsut put a race bore in my bike to make it a 172 got the the extras etc.... so sitting at a set of light i see a gsxr 750 pull up next to me which looked sporty, tinted headlight blue flame exhaust tinted visor etc. so i began to wind him up revving and he beggings to rev as if hes going to leave me to dust. red........ yelllllooow and green .........STALLLLL!!!.... it was worse than i thought by the itme i waited for him in traffic from the next lights he didnt stall but did go from 1st to 2neutral which obviously shows hes borrowed a mates bike and thinks hes flash up aint a "hairdryer" obviously not

Well it obviously shows he borrowed a mates bike...Rolling Eyes

People miss gears, it happens. Could have been a mechanical problem, could have been a faulty side stand switch.

So you think you're king don because you beat a gixxer 750 off the lights that didn't have its engine running?

Granted, some power rangers can't ride. Doesn't mean your ped is a gixxer beater though sadly.

At the end of the day he was on a bike and you were on a souped up ped. I know which one I would want to be on.

I have peds ride up to the side of me and start revving the nuts off the ped, thinking they are impressing someone when all they are doing is making themselves look a cock.

Instead of wasting money with a "race bore" Mr. Green why not buy a proper bike. Wink

I can't believe I'm going to type this and before I do, I agree with the spirit of what people are saying. Although, I think anyone who equates the size of their penis to the wheels they own, be it a scootay (love that name) a gixxer or a Vauxhall Nova is probably being a bit of a cock.

But... *grits teeth* Shocked

How many threads have there been slating peds? So the guy posts a story that for a change has the big biker looking a bit daft and he gets a humping for it. Yet, when its the gixxer (or whatever) shitting all over a ped, thats ok?

Just playing devils advocate, don't hump me for it. Ta Cool

*I don't have a ped or a gixxer, its kinda somewhere in between. Ped = Strimmer/gixxer = rocket/mine = probably a sit on lawn mower. Admittedly, closer to a strimmer... Laughing

Next will be a tale of how a scooter went back to the future after it hit 88mph Rolling Eyes Those pesky flux capacitors eh?

How fast will scooters actually go? Is the top speed reduced by the drag created from the hoodie top and trackie bottoms?

Perhaps this was his plan all alone. He felt sorry for you owning a ped, so he figured he'd increase your self esteem by allowing you to beat him.

I often beat big bikes through traffic, filtering and on the open city roads, Cos my riding is Ardcore Mr. Green

Truth is mate, he probably spent so much time pissing himself laughing, he didn't focus on putting it in gear, Like my comment above, why would a big bike want to whizz around town? They save their power for country lanes and tracks. Thumbs Up

I've done a similar thing before - at a set of lights revved up against a scootay and then just tootled off while he gives it everything he's got... the chap hunched over and really pushing it was funniest thing I'd seen in a while!

And as for missing gears, I've had my current bike for a year and still do it - it's not uncommon!
