What you have to remember although the cc's are important the engine layout is another big factor in both physical size and output of real power..
szr660 comes to mind, not many about, single cylinder sports bike.
Really can't think of any others in all honesty :/ certainly none in production.. i guess there's just no demand for them.. the ninja 250 is probably going to be as good as you'll get, i believe its a twin? should be a respectable amount of power (not sold in the uk that i know of, i thought only Japan got them tbh)
Personally I'd get some very good riding training and get something 400cc's ish and the style of bike you want, I'm aware that your tests aren't quite so picky as here in the uk, maybe try and get to some advanced riders courses or something?
Put it this way, bigger bikes tend to be more stable, easier to handle and easier to get yourself out of (and in i guess) trouble if you want to a 100mile ride on a 250 would worry me more than a full on litre sports bike. ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |
