hello guys I am looking for a bike..I went to phillipines and fell in love with those small scooter looking bike, like honda xrm honda wave and all fixed up..Came back to the US and they're not available here..I want a small sporty bike..I went to kawasaki today and looked at the kawasaki ninja 250 but it was a little high for me well not really but I wanted something a lil smaller. My bro has a kawasaki ninja 600 but I don't want anything that strong or that big..I just want a sporty looking bike, not for the speed or anything just for looks and gas saver..I recently looked at the hyosung gt250r and it looks great..are you guys familiar with this bike? is the body smaller than the 600cc? the 600 is a little too big for me and heavy I just want something small and light...Im looking into hyosung gt250r but haven't heard much of this bike..I would like to check it out but there's no dealer close by. can i hear you guys thoughts on this? are there any other bikes about this size on the 250range?

What you have to remember although the cc's are important the engine layout is another big factor in both physical size and output of real power..

szr660 comes to mind, not many about, single cylinder sports bike.

Really can't think of any others in all honesty :/ certainly none in production.. i guess there's just no demand for them.. the ninja 250 is probably going to be as good as you'll get, i believe its a twin? should be a respectable amount of power (not sold in the uk that i know of, i thought only Japan got them tbh)

Personally I'd get some very good riding training and get something 400cc's ish and the style of bike you want, I'm aware that your tests aren't quite so picky as here in the uk, maybe try and get to some advanced riders courses or something?

Put it this way, bigger bikes tend to be more stable, easier to handle and easier to get yourself out of (and in i guess) trouble if you want to a 100mile ride on a 250 would worry me more than a full on litre sports bike.

400cc's are not really in the states. If they are they are hard to find.

The ninja 250 is a gpz 250 Wink

Tiny bikes.
