Don't know if this should be posted here but ho hum here goes.

Any one know where I could get a cheap (ish) headlight and brackets that would fit onto some fat as fook wide glide forks?

I have no sizes yet but just wanted to know if any one knows of a place that does lights with a "universal" bracket or some such contraption.

I might be getting a VX 800 chopper, the thing is beautiful, really it is. Big fat chunky front wheel and tyre, nice size rear wheel, airbrushed tank which looks the nuts, plenty of brushed ally, and huuuuuuuge (fat) forks. But it needs a light.

MandP catalogue has cheap headlamps, bracketry could be adapted.

I used to have a VX800. Nice engine.

Whats it like for acceleration?

I aint expecting a rocket ship, just want the bike as its a one off really, but would be interesting to know what the acceleration and top end are like, and I take it they are quite grunty?

Used to accelerate ok, but nothing special. Its a big old softy with lots of midrange. It is also an incredibly heavy bike.

The standard air intake arrangement is horribly restrictive, so assuming thats been removed it should be a bit livelier and have a bit more pickup.
